Note: Egyptian trains are designed and maintained according to standards of quality determined by the Egyptian Railway Authority. The sleeper train from Cairo to Aswan takes about 14 hours, and the journey from Luxor to Cairo takes about 11 hours. To reduce time spent traveling, you can upgrade your trip package for about $165 per person to travel by domestic flight instead (about 1.5 hours).
Your tour manager will meet and assist you at Cairo International Airport and will then escort you to your hotel in Cairo in an air-conditioned deluxe vehicle. At the hotel, he will assist you with a smooth check-in and review your budget vacation itinerary with you to establish and confirm pick-up times for each tour.

Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel in Cairo before checking out, then your personal tour guide will accompany you to Giza Plateau to visit one of the seven wonders of the ancient world: the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chefren, and Mykerinus, along with the famous Sphinx and Valley Temple. Then, head out to the Egyptian Museum. Continue to Islamic Cairo, where you will be able to explore Khan El Khalili, Cairo’s oldest and most alluring bazaar, if there is time. Later, you will be transferred to the gorgeous Giza train station to catch the sleeper train from Cairo to Aswan. Dinner and breakfast will be served on board.

Upon your arrival at the Aswan train station, you will be met and assisted by a our representative, who will then transfer you to your Nile cruise ship. Enjoy lunch on board, after which you will be guided to visit the famous High Dam, majestic Philae temple of devotion to the two goddesses Isis and Hathor, and the massive Unfinished Obelisk, still resting on its side in the stone quarries of ancient Egypt. Then, back to the cruise ship with dinner on board.

In the early morning, enjoy a relaxed breakfast on board. Disembarkation after breakfast and enjoy a wonderful tour to visit East Bank of the Nile in Luxor to the Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple followed by a visit to the West Bank of the River Nile in Luxor to the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at El Deir El Bahari and the Colossi of Memnon. Later, you’ll head to the Luxor train station to catch the sleeper train back to Cairo. Dinner will be served on board the train.

Breakfast aboard the sleeper train before arriving at the Giza train station, where you will be met and assisted by our representative who will transfer you to your hotel for some leisure time (you will check into your room as early as possible).
