Give yourself the opportunity to enjoy an 8 days package covering Cairo and famous sites, such as the Pyramids and the Egyptian Museum. Afterward head to Luxor to continue your journey discovering ancient sites like the Valley of the Kings whilst sailing down on the waters of Nile river towards Aswan, home of Nubians.
 

Itinerary :

Day 1: Arrival in Cairo

Welcome to Egypt for your Egypt Easter Tour! Your tour manager will be waiting for you at Cairo International Airport. After the initial assistance, you will be taken to your hotel in an exclusive air-conditioned deluxe vehicle. 

The tour manager will assist in your check-in and review with you the tour itinerary. Have a free 'Welcome Drink' on us and enjoy your free time.

Day 2: Pyramids and Cairo Sightseeing

Let's kick off this day of the Egypt Easter Tour with much interesting sightseeing! Enjoy your breakfast. Afterward, you will be accompanied and taken to the Giza Plateau, home of the Great Pyramids, which is one of the Seven Wonders of the ancient world, including the mysterious Sphinx and the Valley Temple. 

Pause for lunch before moving on to visit the Museum of Egyptian Antiques, which exhibits more than 120.000 masterpieces from the pre-dynastic era, passing through the pharaonic era to the Greco-Roman period in Egypt. 

Time for shopping at Khan El Khalili, the oldest market in Egypt and an important attraction in itself.

Day 3: Flight to Luxor | Nile Cruise

On the 3rd day of the Egypt Easter Tour, you will take a flight to Luxor after breakfast. Before departure and upon arrival you will receive all the needed assistance from a representative. 

In Luxor, you will be taken to check-in in your Nile Cruise and head off with your tour guide to explore Karnak Temple, the world's largest ancient religious site. The hypostyle hall and its colossal granite columns are one of Egypt’s landmarks. Visit the different parts of the giant complex built along 2.000 years.

Next, let's see Luxor Temple, built by Amenhotep III and Ramses II for rituals and festivals dedicated to the god Amon. In the evening you can choose an optional tour, the Sound and Light show, that tells the glorious pharaonic historical story of Luxor and Karnak

Day 4: Luxor Sightseeing

Breakfast is served on board in Luxor before your start the Egypt Easter Tour this day. Your guide will take you to visit the Colossi of Memnon, two colossal statues of Amenhotep III, followed by the Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahri, a temple of unique style which has graphics telling the story of Hatshepsut’s expeditions to the land of Punt. 

Next comes the Valley of the Kings, resting place of pharaohs. Many of the rock-cut tombs still display vibrant color and breathtaking detailed scenes from the Book of the Underworld.

Time to get back to the ship and sail to Edfu.

Please Note: There is an additional charge to enter the tombs of King Tutankhamun and Ramses VI.

Day 5: Kom Ombo and Edfu Temples

It is the 5th day of the Egypt Easter Tour, and you will sail to see Kom Ombo Temple. Of all the ancient temples in Egypt, this is the only one which is actually two - because it is dedicated to two gods: Sobek, and Horus. Besides, Kom Ombo is also famous for the depictions of the surgeon's instruments and gives us a record of medicine and surgery in Ancient Egypt.

In the afternoon, let's see the Temple of Horus at Edfu, the best-preserved of all the Egyptian temples. Back to the cruise, enjoy leisure free time followed by afternoon tea served on the sundeck and dinner.

Day 6: Aswan Sightseeing

It is time for Aswan on the 6th day of the Egypt Easter Tour. After enjoying breakfast on board you will be met by your guide to visit the High Dam, built in the 60s to provide the electricity and irrigation to Egypt.

Next, you will visit the Unfinished Obelisk; it would have been the largest piece of stone ever handled but works were abandoned when a crack was discovered.

Time to visit Agilkia Island and see Philae Temple, one of the Nubian temples rescued before the High Dam was built. Enjoy its long colonnades, towers, and reliefs.

Day 7: Flight to Cairo

This day marks the end of your Egypt Easter Tour's cruise. Enjoy the last breakfast on your Nile cruise, then get ready to be transferred to Aswan Airport and return to Cairo. 

In Cairo, you will be taken to your hotel.

Day 8: Final Departure

It is the end of your Egypt Easter Tour. Take your time enjoying the last breakfast at your hotel in the Land of the Pharaohs, then you will be transferred to Cairo International Airport for your flight back home.
