After breakfast, you will be accompanied by your guide to the Giza Plateau to visit one of the seven wonders of the ancient world: the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chefren, and Mykerinus, along with the famous Sphinx and Valley Temple. Have lunch in a local restaurant with a view of the Pyramids. Then, head to the new Grand Egyptian Museum, the world's largest museum dedicated to a single civilization.
Overnight in Cairo.
After breakfast at the hotel, get ready to be transferred to the airport. On this day of the 7-day Cairo Nile Cruise Holiday, you will take a flight to Aswan, where once again you will have all the needed assistance upon your arrival. Your tour guide will start the tour by visiting the Unfinished Obelisk, an impressively large piece of stone that remains laid on the ground and was supposed to be the biggest obelisk in Egypt if finished. Finally, get enchanted by the Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis. It was removed from its original place and replaced on Agilkia Island. It's time to embark on your Nile cruise. Dinner will be served on board.
Meals included: breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Enjoy a fabulous breakfast on board your cruise. It is the 4th day of the 7-day Cairo & Nile Cruise Holiday, and today you will sail to Kom Ombo, where the Kom Ombo Temple is. This is a very peculiar monument, as it is the only one that is not just one but two identical temples beside each other dedicated to the gods Horus and Sobek. Next, it is time to be taken to Edfu Temple, dedicated to Horus. Your tour guide will explain how this is the most well-preserved temple of all in Egypt. Time to go back to the ship!
Meals included: breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Another day of the 7-day Cairo Nile Cruise Holiday! But first, an awesome breakfast, of course, onboard your cruise. Straight after, you will sail towards Luxor, and so much awaits you! Let's start by the Karnak Temple, and don't worry if you drop your jaw because this is the biggest ancient religious site in the world. Find yourself in the Hypostyle Hall amongst its colossal columns and feel the power of this place. Next stop, Luxor Temple! It is dedicated to the god Amon and was built by Ramses II and Amenhotep III. After lunch, you will get inside tombs in the Valley of the Kings, the royal necropolis during the New Reign; it is where famous tombs are located, such as Tutankhamun's. Last but not least, it is time for the queen who ruled Egypt for nearly 30 years: visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, a temple of unique style! On the way back to your cruise, there is still time to stop by the Colossi of Memnon, two enormous statues that hold an interesting legend—remember asking your tour guide to tell you!
Meals included: breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
This day of the 7-day Cairo Nile cruise marks the end of your cruise. But wait, you still have time to enjoy your last breakfast on board. You will be transferred to Luxor Airport and, once back in Cairo, transferred to your hotel.
Meals included: Breakfast
Unfortunately, it is the end of your 7-day Cairo Nile Cruise holiday, but we are sure you are leaving with amazing memories! After breakfast at your hotel, you will be escorted to the airport and take the flight back home. We will assist you one last time and wish you a safe return.
